Terms & Conditions
Last updated: June 7, 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the China Medical Care Guide (the "Service", "ucmcg.com"), operated by Yu Pan ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or continuing to use the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. You confirm that you are of legal age to form a binding contract.
1. The Service
The Service provides online informational content, guides, and tools relating to navigating medical care in China, including dynamically updated material and an AI question-and-answer assistant. Access to certain content requires a paid subscription.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. Your continued use of the Service constitutes ongoing acceptance of these Terms and any updates to them.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:
- use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
- send spam or distribute malware or other malicious code;
- infringe the intellectual property or other rights of us or any third party;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to, probe, scan, scrape, or interfere with the security or integrity of the Service or its infrastructure;
- resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service or its content.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account, and you agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
4. AI Assistant — Acceptable Use & Limitations
The Service includes an AI question-and-answer assistant. When using this feature, you additionally agree that you will not:
- submit prompts intended to generate illegal, hateful, harassing, defamatory, or sexually exploitative content;
- use the assistant to create deepfakes, impersonate others, or generate disinformation;
- attempt to jailbreak, bypass safety controls, reverse engineer, or extract the underlying models or system prompts;
- input content you do not have the rights to use, or that infringes the intellectual property or privacy of others.
You are solely responsible for the prompts you submit, how you use the outputs, verifying the accuracy of outputs before relying on them, and ensuring you hold the necessary rights to any content you provide. As between you and us, and to the extent permitted by law, you retain rights to your inputs and the resulting outputs, subject to the limited licence we need to operate the Service.
We reserve the right to moderate use of the assistant — including removing or restricting content, refusing or filtering outputs, and suspending accounts — to enforce these Terms or comply with law. If you believe an output infringes your rights, contact us using the details below so we can review and, where appropriate, remove the content; repeated infringement may result in termination.
Accuracy. AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date, and must not be relied upon as professional, medical, legal, or financial advice without independent verification and appropriate professional oversight.
5. Intellectual Property
The Service and all of its content, software, documentation, and branding are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Service for your personal use within your chosen plan. You may not reverse engineer, copy, or create derivative works except as permitted by law.
6. Informational Purpose Only — No Medical Advice
The content provided through the Service is for general informational and educational purposes only and does not constitute medical, legal, or professional advice. It is not a substitute for consultation with a qualified healthcare professional. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified provider with any questions regarding a medical condition. Your reliance on any information from the Service is solely at your own risk.
7. Service Availability
We strive to keep the Service available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that content is complete or current. The Service is provided "as is" and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
8. Payment & Subscription Terms
Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on the plan you select) until cancelled. Payment, billing, taxes, currency, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle. For full details of these mechanics, please refer to the Paddle Checkout Buyer Terms and our Refund Policy.
9. Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
10. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, in the event of: a material breach of these Terms, non-payment, a security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious violations of our acceptable use requirements. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts located there.
