7.2 Contributing & Correction Process

How to Submit Feedback or a Correction:

To ensure we can process your submission efficiently, please structure your message as follows:

  • Subject Line: Guide Feedback: [Topic, e.g., "PUMCH Contact Info"]

  • Body of Email:

    1. Section/Page Reference: The specific part of the guide you are commenting on (e.g., "Part II, 2.1 Beijing, Table for Peking Union Medical College Hospital").

    2. Current Text: The exact text or data as it appears in the current guide.

    3. Suggested Correction/Update: The updated, correct information.

    4. Source of Your Information: How you know this. (e.g., "I was a patient there in March 2026 and the new International Department hotline is...", or "The hospital's official website now lists..."). If possible, provide a link or screenshot.

    5. Your Status (Optional): Patient, family member, medical professional, facilitator, etc. This helps us understand context.

What Happens Next:

  1. Acknowledgment: You will receive an automated acknowledgment of your submission.

  2. Verification: Our team will investigate the submission using the primary source verification methods outlined in 7.1.

  3. Action: If verified, the correction will be implemented in the next scheduled update. If the information cannot be verified, we may contact you for clarification.

  4. Credit: With your permission, contributors will be thanked in the guide's digital acknowledgments section.
